Our goal
ChargeBreak should be usable by everyone planning a break on the road – with keyboard, screen reader, magnification or voice control. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA.
What we do
- Fully keyboard operable, with visible focus and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5 : 1, large text and controls at least 3 : 1.
- Highly legible type (Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed for low vision), scalable to 200 % without loss of function.
- Semantic structure: heading levels, landmarks, form labels, status messages for screen readers.
- Motion only sparingly and only if your browser has not opted out (
prefers-reduced-motion). - Light and dark appearance according to your system setting.
- The language of each page is declared (German or English).
Status of testing
We test pages and app automatically (axe-core) and manually on a sample basis. A full third-party audit has not taken place yet. As of: [[PLATZHALTER: Datum der letzten Prüfung]]. We therefore regard the website as partially conformant until a full audit exists.
Known limitations
- Place and opening-hours information comes from OpenStreetMap and is not described to the same quality everywhere.
- Results are lists and tables; there is no map view.
- [[PLATZHALTER: weitere bekannte Einschränkungen nach der manuellen Prüfung ergänzen]]
Report a barrier
If you run into a barrier, write to us: [[PLATZHALTER: E-Mail-Adresse]]. Please name the page, your assistive technology and what did not work. We usually reply within [[PLATZHALTER: Frist]].
